Reading the initial comments at the Escapist, I think you are at the top of a few more Death List, Shamus :-)
The Escapist comments are a cesspool. Every once in a while I click on one of their forum topics or comment threads and immediately regret it.
There are gems in the cesspool, but it takes time and guts to fish them out.
Good thing we can comment and discuss Shamus’s articles here.
I did not find that the comments on that particular topic were that bad.

Hmm now you’ve made me wonder what female head on male torso shepard looks like. And typing that sentence has made me wonder what bioware would make of a romance scene between those two characters. Shamus, why do you do this to me…

(It did take me looking at the strip a couple of times to figure out exactly what the change was, though.)
Actually, I lay it all at the feet of the bean counters. Science isnt cheap, and the first thing that always gets cut when you’re trying to save money is testing. Looks like the acceptance test got cut a little short.
Funny stuff.
I think it’s a great idea for ME3.
They can claim it’s the result of radiation exposure, caused by spending too much time with the planet scanner…
So now Shepard wouldn’t need Liara or Thane or whoever to get through the sex scen-NO BAD BAD DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT EWW

Oh man.
See, the hilarious thing here is? I got that bug playing ME1 yesterday. Seriously. On Noveria, all the male scientists got given female torsos. Seems like that bioweapon they were working on had unintended side effects.
I reinstalled the game on Xbox from the disc. We’ll see if that fixes the bug.
That of course works the other way around. :D
