This is an Overlord comic, but it’s not really about Overlord. It’s about a game which is not Overlord. If you want this to make sense, then you’ll just have to read it for yourself.
Silent Hill 2 Plot Analysis
A long-form analysis on one of the greatest horror games ever made.
Best. Plot Twist. Ever.
Few people remember BioWare's Jade Empire, but it had a unique setting and a really well-executed plot twist.
Seven Springs
The true story of three strange days in 1989, when the last months of my adolescence ran out and the first few sparks of adulthood appeared.
Hardware Review
So what happens when a SOFTWARE engineer tries to review hardware? This. This happens.
Trusting the System
How do you know the rules of the game are what the game claims? More importantly, how do the DEVELOPERS know?
T w e n t y S i d e d
Maybe next time, the Overlord could sue a game that tries to have in-game incentive why to go Bad or Good, which enforces a peticular and oppressive kind of morality?
I don’t know… like Fable?
Are you sure blocking anything with Jack Black on it would be considered “evil” and not an act of “protection of humanity” ?
Wow, what a hilarious coincidence.
I just now, 5 minutes ago, beat Overlord 1. And now you post a comic from Overlord (II, but close enough :P)
Also, LOL :D
Very sharp one here. And ‘grats on the 111 comic, as I’m one of those who celebrates repeated numbers.
I found the word “Underlawyers” to be the funniest bit, for some reason.
I didn’t even know there were lawsuits going on. How, exactly, do Activision think they can stop someone from selling the rights to a product they completely dropped? Also, what’s the point to the suits?
Well, as long as I get BL in the end, I’ll be happy.
Shamus, the wording in your comment makes it sound like Double Fine dropped Brutal Legend, not Activision–you overused pronouns and I wasn’t sure what that “it” referred to. Normally a pronoun refers to the most recent proper noun, which is Double Fine, not Activision.
I wish more villains yelled “Curses!”
Like Snidely Whiplash?
“Summon the underlawyers from their lair and break the seal on the litigation gate! I will see this deed done.”
I love it.
