I guess I should have announced earlier, there is a new version of Wavatars that fixes the major problems with getting Gravatars and Wavatars to work together.
WordPress 2.5 is due out soon, and I’m very curious what that will do to my plugin. This new version of WordPress looks to be a pretty big jump, and I expect a lot of stuff to break in minor ways. Anyway, you can get the update if you use Wavatars on your blog.
Mass Effect 3 Ending Deconstruction
Did you dislike the ending to the Mass Effect trilogy? Here's my list of where it failed logically, thematically, and tonally.
Control
A wild game filled with wild ideas that features fun puzzles and mind-blowing environments. It has a great atmosphere, and one REALLY annoying flaw with its gameplay.
Self-Balancing Gameplay
There's a wonderful way to balance difficulty in RPGs, and designers try to prevent it. For some reason.
Do It Again, Stupid
One of the highest-rated games of all time has some of the least interesting gameplay.
Skylines of the Future
Cities: Skylines is bound to have a sequel sooner or later. Where can this series go next, and what changes would I like to see?
T w e n t y S i d e d
Yay, I get my Wavatar back! :-)
I find it interesting how the wavatars and gravatar disply differently in IE6 and IE7
Also, I keep getting an error from any machine using IE6 that I can’t submit a comment, but the comments post anyway.
Probably related to PNG display in IE6… silly IE.
I’ve never understood how version numbers are assigned. Is it arbitrary or are there rules programmers follow?
Blur – Version numbers are usually three values, seperated by periods. The first number is the Major version number. The second is the Minor version number. The final is the “revision” number.
* Increment the revision when you’re just fixing bugs or fine-tuning existing features.
* Increment the minor number when you introduce a new feature.
* Increment the major number when you make a large jump in features, re-write part of it, or make other sweeping changes.
If I have to re-write wavatars for the new wordpress, I’ll probably advance the version number to 2.0.0 – and then if I have to fix a bug later I might make it 2.0.1
That’s the general idea, anyway. These are not hard rules, more like guidelines anyway.

Ah, kind of like the Pirate’s Code as laid down by the pirates Morgan and Bartholomew? :)
Bilbo: No. The Code is the Law.
Ah, I see. Thanks.
I don’t really have anything relevant to say, except that I love my wavatar.
Wavatars FTW
